Established in 2000, Outdoor Works is a family owned and operated business based in Albury-Wodonga. We live locally, work locally and support local businesses wherever possible.

We believe in providing practical solutions and professional customer service. To us, that means delivering quality landscaping and earthmoving solutions and providing straightforward and honest advice.

With 15 years of experience in the industry, and a fleet of state-of-the-art landscaping machinery, we have the technical expertise to deliver best-in-class earthmoving and landscaping solutions, but as a family-run business, we’re also small enough to treat every customer and project as our number one priority. That’s why you’ll always work directly with us.

Jimmy McAuley (left)

Jimmy is a qualified carpenter by trade and was one of the first students in NSW to undertake an Australian school-based apprenticeship while working towards his secondary school certificate. Before joining Outdoor Works in 2017, Jimmy worked on high-end housing extensions in Melbourne. Jimmy’s loves the outdoors and is a passionate snowboarder and wakeboarder.

Dave McAuley (right)

Before establishing Outdoor Works in 2000, Dave managed rural properties in South Australia and spent five years travelling around Australia as a shearer. Dave’s time as a rural property manager gave him the technical expertise to operate cutting-edge construction machinery and equipment, as well as a strong understanding of how to work with the land.

Dave has a passion for bringing his customers’ visions to life. It’s his commitment to providing great advice and quality construction work, from the design stage right through to the finishing touches, that help his customers achieve the best results.

Nick McAuley

The youngest McAuley, Nick helps the team out on site when he’s not at school. Nick has always had a passion for the outdoors and is currently studying to become a qualified Outdoor Recreation Guide. The course will give him the skills to develop and lead programs for bushwalkers, rock climbers and abseilers.

Coasta

Coasta, named after the Australian coastline Nick loves so much, enjoys nothing more than keeping us company in the truck and on site. One of the smartest dogs you’ll ever meet, she’s even been known to fetch the team a beer or two from the fridge after a hard day’s work.
